Door Draft Stopper

This door draft stopper was designed out of pure frustration with ones that didn’t do their job.

Too many draft stoppers are too light, too stiff, or poorly filled, letting cold air slip through or pushing themselves out of place the moment the wind picks up. This one was made to fix that.

Each draft stopper is weighted with sand and built with a sewn-in bottom liner to keep the weight mostly fixed in place. The body is densely filled with shredded fabric scraps rather than lightweight polyfill, making it heavier, floppier, and far less likely to move, roll away, or allow airflow underneath.

The result is a draft stopper that sits snug against the door, blocks cold air more effectively, and actually stays where you put it. We use them in our own home and the difference is noticeable, especially on cold floors and drafty doors.

As a bonus, these are made using unusable fabric scraps that would otherwise end up in the landfill, making them a more environmentally responsible choice without sacrificing function.
