Originally, the rough Agate had all the markings of blood dripping down the slab. The question at the the time was, what should it be cut into? A Coffin of course!

Agate is a variety of chalcedony. Agates vibrate at a lower and slower frequency so they are highly grounding and used also as a sleep aid.  

Agate has been discovered with the artifacts of Neolithic people, and was used as healing amulets and ornamentation dating back to Babylon. Its medicinal uses continued through the ancient Greek and Egyptian civilizations, and spread throughout Africa and the Middle East into Russia.
